Information technology is evolving at a rapid pace. And companies can’t meet their needs simply by buying a new piece of software — today’s complicated business environment requires solutions that are just as complex. High performing organizations use a process called enterprise architecture, which helps them intelligently match technology to their business needs. But no university in the country offered a concentration in enterprise architecture—until now.

A gift valued at over $3.0 million from the Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence, part of the Pinnacle Business Group, provides Kent State’s new School of Digital Sciences with the curriculum for such a concentration. Students now have the unique opportunity to pursue coursework in a field that’s poised for exponential growth in the 21st century economy. It’s a gift that helps Kent State move ahead of its peers in offering an education that’s unmatched in innovation.
