Pat Mullin and Leadership Students

Because leadership requires passing
the baton

Pat Mullin ’71

Pat serves as the chairman of the boards of University Hospitals Case Medical Center and is a member of many boards including the Cleveland Zoological Society, Greater Cleveland Partnership and the campaign co-chair for the United Way of Cleveland, among others.

Alumnus Pat Mullin, ’71, has a history of service in Northeast Ohio that’s unmatched. Pat has also served as a member and chair of Kent State’s Board of Trustees, where he led a dedicated team of advocates who helped the university rapidly transform itself in support of President Lester Lefton’s vision.

Pat and his wife, Amy, are furthering their volunteer leadership at Kent State with an endowed scholarship in the College of Business Administration. The Patrick S. Mullin Medallion Scholarship in Accounting honors the education that gave him the start toward becoming a managing partner for the Deloitte & Touche Northern Ohio branch. And it ensures future students will have the same opportunity to build a foundation for career success — and to give back to the community, as Pat has time and time again.
